Cleophas William “Junior” Halmon Jr., age 74, of Detroit, passed away on August 26, 2026. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Junior was a hardworking self‑employed landscaper for over twenty years and a proud Baptist by faith. He is survived by his daughters, Tione and Briana Halmon, eight grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister. 

A memorial service honoring his life will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home – Dexter Chapel.
