Janice Shirley-Thompson, age 69, formerly a dedicated social worker in Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. Born to George Mallard and Elizabeth Shirley, Janice devoted her life to serving others with compassion and strength. She is cherished by her family, who remember her love of music, poetry, and the color purple. Her legacy of care and commitment will be honored at a full funeral service on Saturday, December 6th. She leaves behind a community deeply touched by her kindness and a family who will continue to celebrate her life and memory.
