Renata Ramsey, 68, of Detroit, Michigan passed away on August 30, 2023 and was born on December 19, 1954.

Renata Ramsey was born on December 19,1954 in Detroit, Michigan, to Reuben and Mary Ramsey.

She confessed Christ at an early age.  In her later years she devoted her Saturday’s mornings to Bible Study with her family. 

She was educated in the Detroit Public School System.  Upon graduation, she was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in which she spent over 35 years.

Renata was a loyal friend and had a zest for living.  When you became a friend of Renata, you became a friend for life.  Renata had her daily personal party line with her besties.  She enjoyed her movies, reality shows, and especially her tic-tac-toe system of her three -digit lottery numbers.  She had a talent for remembering everyone’s birthday.

On, Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 2023, Renata Ramsey made a peaceful transition from this life to God’s eternal care.  Her memories are shared by her brother, Philip aka Butch, nieces and nephews: Philip aka Ali (Neysha), Adam (Crystal), Shawn Carter and Shannon; great nieces and nephews:  Hanniah, Gabriel, Noah, Haleigh, Landon, Diamond (Clyde), Denver, Adea, Umoya, Courtney and Toree.  Two cousins, Joy and Ann McFarland. Nancy Torgerson (her other sister), and a host of family and friends.
